A wide range of<a href=\"http:\/\/www.stiftung-eierstockkrebs\/projekte.de\"> campaigns and events<\/a> focus on patient-relevant topics such as treatment options, aftercare and quality of life. <\/p><p>The foundation also offers nationwide information tours, such as the &#8220;BRCA Info Tour&#8221;, to provide information on the genetic focus of ovarian cancer or, as part of the &#8220;Creative Tour&#8221;, additional options such as artistic therapies. The German Ovarian Cancer Foundation also supports clinical research such as the long-term study &#8220;Carolin meets Hanna&#8221;. In recent years, treatment results for ovarian cancer have improved significantly on the basis of studies, but the long-term results for women with ovarian cancer are still unsatisfactory.
