Since it was founded in 2010, our partner, the German Ovarian Cancer Foundation, has been committed to providing intensive, improved information and increasing the quality of life of patients with ovarian cancer. A wide range of campaigns and events focus on patient-relevant topics such as treatment options, aftercare and quality of life.

The foundation also offers nationwide information tours, such as the “BRCA Info Tour”, to provide information on the genetic focus of ovarian cancer or, as part of the “Creative Tour”, additional options such as artistic therapies. The German Ovarian Cancer Foundation also supports clinical research such as the long-term study “Carolin meets Hanna”. In recent years, treatment results for ovarian cancer have improved significantly on the basis of studies, but the long-term results for women with ovarian cancer are still unsatisfactory. The Ovarian Cancer Foundation is working to ensure that innovative research projects on tumor biology, diagnostics, therapy and aftercare are systematically funded.
